Goway Welcomes Rares Dumitru as New National Account Manager for Canada
Despite the slowdown of the past 20 months, here at Goway we’ve worked hard to reimagine our brand and prepare for the inevitable rise in travel demand. Now that travel is returning and borders are reopening around the world, we’re uniquely positioned to strengthen our team with some vital additions to our staff. To this end, we’ve added industry veteran Rares Dumitru as the new National Account Manager for Canada.
In his over 20 years in the travel industry, Rares has worked for respected organizations such as Trafalgar Travel, Kensington Tours, Rail Europe, and most recently for LaCure Villas. He has experience in both wholesale and retail divisions and strong relationships across the industry. Originally hailing from Romania, Rares has travelled throughout the world, and so brings the kind of first-hand travel knowledge that is so essential to Goway’s team of Destination Specialists.
In his new role as National Account Manager for Canada, Rares will work with travel professionals across the country to strengthen the Goway brand and expand the travel opportunities within the industry. He’ll manage key accounts for Goway and leverage his years of experience to strengthen the company and the industry as a whole.
