Goway Welcomes Ian Smyth to the Team as Account Manager
We’re turning a corner in this pandemic and starting to see the travel industry rebound. All signs point to 2022 being a big year for travel and we want to be in the best position possible to take advantage of this resurgence in the market. To this end, we’ve added Ian Smyth as Account Manager for Canada.
Ian has over 20 years experience in the industry. He started his career with Fun Sun Vacations, which helped him fall in love with sunny destinations such as Costa Rica and Hawaii. He moved onto WestJet and WestJet Vacations and has spent the past five years working for Norwegian Cruise Lines as their Business Development Director.
Ian has a long track record of supporting travel agents and has a wide variety of experience in the industry. He’s worked in strategic accounts, corporate sales, and agency sales, as well as business development. As Account Manager in Canada, Ian will support travel professionals across the country and grow their brand, while strengthening Goway’s relationships in the industry.
