Goway’s New T&Cs Allow Travellers to Book Securely Into 2021
Goway Travel has updated its terms and conditions for new bookings to allow flexibility and peace of mind in the face of uncertainty around Covid-19.
One of North America’s oldest and most trusted names in travel, Goway celebrates 50 years in travel in 2020. While a global hold on international tourism has somewhat dampened that celebration, the company has put the lessons of those 50 years to good use, updating its booking terms and conditions to protect its partner agents and travellers looking to travel as soon as it is safe and responsible to do so.
Each new booking of Goway land arrangements for the first half of 2021 made from June 7 to August 31, 2020 will enjoy a reduced deposit, refundable up to 30 days prior to departure, when full payment of land arrangements is due. This will allow travelers to book with little or no financial risk as destinations around the world begin implementing their safety protocols for tourism recovery. Any third-party or other exceptions that may apply will be advised by Goway’s destination specialists.
Goway Groups Only has also waived its $600 booking fee for 3 months once land arrangements are confirmed. Full payment of a Groups Only booking is due 60 days prior to departure. However, new bookings made between June 1 and September 30, 2020 may cancel up to 30 days prior to departure for any specified reason related to Covid-19. Groups who cancel without rebooking will receive a credit toward future travel, valid until December 31, 2022.
Agents making new group bookings with Goway Groups Only will still be entered into the draw for a chance to win an ounce of gold in celebration of Goway’s 50th anniversary. $100 will also be added to the agent’s Goway Rewards Card, with an additional $200 being added when the group travels. Any exclusions, penalties, or other fees applied by third-party providers will be advised in writing by Goway Groups Only.
Despite the uncertainty of Covid-19’s impact on future travel, plans for tourism continue. Protocols are being implemented to ensure the safety of visitors and locals in a number of less populated, more easily controlled destinations like French Polynesia and Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands. Bookings are also being taken for one-off events such as Patagonia’s total solar eclipse, due in December, 2020.
Goway’s updated Terms and Conditions ensure that even with the travel world at a standstill, travellers can keep one confident eye on their next great adventure.
